Absolute Engineering, LLC is an engineering firm founded by Mitch Crowe and located in Kennewick, Washington.   Absolute Engineering was created to better serve the public, private, and government sectors.   As part of our service, we provide full mechanical engineering, air & water balancing, and commissioning services.   Another new service is complete design coordination where Absolute Engineering is the lead project manager of the design team.   This innovative service came about due to the 20 years of experience in the construction and design trade that Mitch has, providing engineering, project management, and actual field construction.   Absolute Engineering, also has a strong network with other quality architectural and engineering firms which enables us to provide a complete plan and specification package ready for bid and/or construction.

Mitch brings with him a vast experience in many different areas of engineering which shows in the review of the resume section.   With Mitch, additional office personnel include Bob DePoe (Construction Manager), Pam Arneson (Electrical Engineer), Jeff Horlacher (Mechanical Designer), Josh Hansen (CAD Drafter) and Lonnie Burris (CAD Drafter).   Mitch Crowe is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arkansas, and Pam Arneson is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

In addition to Mitch, Bob DePoe also has contractor experience.   They worked at Foster Sheet Metal then opened Blue Sage Corporation.   During their time at Blue Sage, they received letters of recommendation from Chevron Chemical for their work during Chevron’s annual shutdowns.   In addition to Bob’s construction experience, he also has experience as a Washington State Boiler Inspector and many years as an Owner’s representative in elementary, secondary and higher education facilities.

Our hands-on construction experience gives us an edge in designing HVAC systems and other mechanical systems that make sense to the contractor.   When the contractor understands the documents and what is required of them, then the price and quality reflects that.   We work very well with many local contractors because of our experience.   Furthermore, our construction experience gives us the edge in commissioning and air balance of HVAC and Mechanical Systems.

Absolute Engineering provides complete design services ranging from strictly engineering to only providing construction administration and on many projects we provide both.   As part of our overall package, we have the capabilities to provide scheduling, estimating, construction administration, project closeout, and bidding.
